How to Abide in Christ - Part 4

Passage: John 15: 1-10

Another way of Abiding in Christ is by

4) Obeying His Commands:

verse 10 of the passage says that "if [we] obey His commands [we] will abide in His love, just as [He] has obeyed [His] fathers commands and abide in His love." This seems pretty obvious but how else do you want to live your life, if it is not dwelling in the Love of Christ. If it seems as if the whole world is against you, as long as God loves you, you're OK. If you're in a situation that does not seem to end, remember God's love for you is bigger than any situation life can throw at you. If you're waiting on God for something, remember His love for you will not fail. If you decide not to do the things your friends do, they might look down on you and think bad of you. However if what you do pleases God, then He loves it and that's better than what your friends think.

This concludes this series, but new revelations come as we seek the face of God, so He will reveal things that are unique to your walk with Him, and I pray that we will all have the grace to put all this into practice.
